Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

    5. Yikes - among the women's new arrivals is an easy fit pique polo shirt.

Do you 'spose Jenna is going to wear one of those out of the house?

    6. Couldn't take y eyes off the collection EMBELLISHED polo shirt, now marked down to $399.

      WHO THOUGHT THAT ONE UP?

    7. WFF, i can't with that polo. (That back view!)

I a) wish it had reviews b/c I am so intrigued and b) can't believe it seems to be sold out in at least a few sizes. Would love to find out what the inspiration was for this piece -- the little gold embellishments remind me of mini dusters!

    8. I think the easy fit polo must be a nod to norm-core. As for the embellished polos, wow, one of those times where I think I'm on some J.Crew spoof site.

  2. I got an email about an event at my local store in the morning in conjunction with a new local bakery. They are giving out a free beach bag to the first ten people, a drawing for a $50.00 gift card and treats from the bakery. Not sure I will make it but it sounds fun. Has anyone else had an event like this, any info on the free beach tote?

    1. About two weekends ago the Vancouver Robsen St store gave me a beach bag (with blow up beach ball ) in it choices were yellow or blue. They are a cute canvas/tote beach bag. I was supposed to spend $100 to get it ....but she gave it to me regardless as store was not busy. After when I went to the other downtown location...to check sale section...they were not doing this same promo at the store ...>

    2. The skirt looks very versatile. Good for work, or a professional engagement. It looks polished.

  8. The ruffle sleeve dress is now $79.99 in-store & online, review here.

I got the mint lamb bracelet -- Instapic -- which is on sale in-store + 40% off. I think the sale price is $74.99. It's still regular price online.

  9. I discussed some of the new arrivals in this post. I noticed a lot of preppy items, which I liked, but only regular sizes. It doesn't work for some of us. Which is fine. It's just an observation. Also, there's a new feature highlighting rewards info for cardholders at the shopping cart. I discuss that at the bottom of the post.

  11. OT - Hi again. Some J. Crew smackdowns in this post. Online store Accessory Concierge is having a 35% off sale thru tonite, Sun. I've been stalking the pom-pom clutch and this is the first code I've seen since Apr.

As you'll see in the 1st 3 comparisons, they have dupes for the grande crystal necklace, floral lattice crystal necklace, pearl layering necklace.

In the slideshow at the end, there are dupes for the gold Jenna link bracelet, pavé link bracelet and a black fan necklace that I can recall the product name for.

    1. That is a great color that looks really stunning on you. It reminds me of the festival green from a few years ago.

  13. I stopped in to the store yesterday to return a few things and tried on a few dresses - the Sleeveless A-Line dress in Windowpane Tweed, The Flutter Sleeve Dress in Eyelet and Ikat and the Striped T-Shirt Dress. Also a few pics of some necklaces - the long oval link necklace and the crystal cluster necklace. You can see photos on my blog here

My store honored the 30% off the entire purchase. Sale was 40% off but everything was looking shop worn and higher priced than I would have paid even with 40% off.

  15. Stopped by today for a return.
Sale section had a lot of shoes that were well organized, many tee shirts in various colors and assorted other items.
I contemplated getting one of the panther bracelets but put it back--I loved it but didn't want to spend the money on that right now.
I also tried on the tassel sandals in electric red and black. They're cute but that red was a deal breaker for me. If the colors were reversed, the soft pink that's accented in the tassels with a pop of the neon they may have worked better for my wardrobe. I tried the black too and it felt a little heavy looking. (I did recently get a pair of suede Sam Edelman gladiator lace ups with a block heel, so I wouldn't need both anyway.)
I did want to try the white popover (with the cuffed sleeve, kind of sleeveless) but there were no more in store.
