  1. Bummer! There are zero stores near me and there are a few Factory items I am really into....gonna have to wait for an online coupon better than just free shipping!

  2. I was just in the Factory yesterday, and the SAs were busily putting together new displays of spring merchandise. The clearance section was fairly picked over, but what they did have was an extra 50% off. What I'm wondering now is what kind of price "adjustments" have been made to accompany this new offer. For instance, yesterday the navy dot skimmer pants were 40% off the $69.50 tag price in store. The same pants online were $49.50 last night, and today they are $54.50. No telling what the price of these pants is in the store today. I have a sneaking suspicion it isn't the same price they were yesterday.

  3. Elizabeth M-you are right about prices-they are like rubber in crewlet world. The lobster sweater is now only $5 off vs the 40% off we saw few days ago. But darn, as much as I like seeing this coupon from factory, it has broken my "will pause on shopping for this month" rule. There's a few factory items I'm eyeing. The crochet lace tee-even though I have retail one, I'm liking the neon rose color. I like the apple sequin tee too but it's an online item only. Anybody try the scallop lace short sleeve top? Does anyone know how it compares to retail one from last year? I think the retail one ran big, if I recall. THanks!

  4. Agree about the rubber pricing in crewlet world, not to mention that a lot of things are always lower price in-store than they are online. It is always nice to see another promo offered though. I took advantage of the last one like this, but haven't been back to the crewlet since then, because it is next to impossible to find parking at the outlet mall.

  5. DO you think they will stack this with the educator's discount?

    1. ruffles: The time I used one of these print outs, the SA would not allow me to combine the two discounts. She said it was one or the other.

  6. Did you guys notice that factory lowered its shipping rate to $4.95. Beware that it may take longer to get your order (at least that is what I am experiencing). I got the standard email that my order was shipped and when I tracked the UPS tracking #, it said that the package was transferred to my local USPS for delivery...which I have yet to receive and there is no updated tracking info. I asked CS about it and they said this is their new system which allows them to offer a cheaper shipping rate. Not sure how I feel about this....it's confusing to track and def takes longer to receive your order. Thoughts?

    1. I placed a factory order and a regular order last week - I was able to track both just fine but, as you experienced, the factory order was transferred to my local USPS, which meant that it took an extra day to arrive. Regular order came via UPS (no transferring). I placed the factory order two days before the regular order and ending up getting both on the same day. Since I didn't have tracking problem I think the new shipping is fine. I think they still offer quicker options for more $,which is a nice way to allow people to choose what works for them.

  7. I love factory, but I have been so disappointed that they have copied many retail items to reproduce as their "new arrivals".

  9. OT - but has anyone gotten a phone call from J Crew offering 20% off to their "best" customers at the regular retail store when making some sort of appointment? I didn't ask for details, but am assuming it's a VPS appointment.
