  1. I love my in-store ps. She is honest about what looks good on me or not and I appreciate that.

  2. I love the current promo for international shipping: free shipping, free returns, and duty free.
Sadly, it will expire on April 30th.

  3. I love my foulard cafe capri, I receive compliments every time that I wear them. Highly recommended at the current sale price and % off.

    1. After hearing all the good reviews,I picked these up at the B&m today for $59 and used my rewards card.looking forward to wearing these with tan, navy and orange. They go great with the big crystal and enamel link bracelet from the holiday line whose name escapes me right now.

  4. Last week, I took my older sister to a JC store during the 30% off sale. She lives in a very remote setting and is unable to shop much, and doesn't have a stellar wardrobe. She was ecstatic to find the origami dress on sale in her size, and it looked absolutely gorgeous on her. Now she'll have a go-to dress that she can wear whenever the occasion requires.

    Thanks JC!

  5. I received the Altuzarra for J.Crew Patricia dress and this is one of my favorite J.Crew items this year. I posted a review on my blog HERE.

  6. Received the Viv Suede Flower Flats in marigold and they are really pretty. I know that the sole is man-made and it was probably a risk for me (since I usually don't do well with JC flats), but with the 30% off and the ability to return, I took a chance. I'm glad I did! The color is gorgeous and it will go with many spring/summer outfits. I'm happy I got these since I can't find another flower flat I like (barring Manolos and I don't think I can shell out the $$ for those!)

  7. Received the Factory Birmingham Tweed Lady Jacket that I picked up for $54 during the last % off promo. I've never purchased a Factory jacket before, but it is adorable and well-made. It rivals my other tweedy little J. Crew jackets that were $200-300 retail. I love it!

  8. I was happy to see the Mirabel skirt and dress re-issued as factory items. I missed them the first time around, stalked them on eBay but never bought. The dress is called "FACTORY FLORAL EMBROIDERED CAP-SLEEVE DRESS" on the web site, but the bag it came in was labelled "Mirabel" and it looks the same as the original. The skirt is only in the factory store, not in factory online, for some reason.

  9. Love the quality of the new cafe capris. I have some that are 3 years old, and they're not nearly as well made as the new breed. The sizing runs almost exactly the same.

  10. A virtual hug to my awesome new online PS. She not only found me a pair of flax Seville espadrilles (backordered until July online) but also a canvas stripe Tillary tote. While she doesn't make polyvores of outfit ideas for me like my old PS, I'm pretty thrilled by her willingness to track down sale items and backordered stuff!

    1. @simply dreaming: I've asked, and no stores carry petite. Drives me crazy when I see the better B&M deals -- if I buy them, the added $$ for tailoring makes it the same price as buying the petite online. Boo.

  12. Was thrilled that I was able to score a popback of the double-serge Hacking jacket in turquoise the other day. After reading in the vent thread yesterday how many of you have received wrong orders from popbacks, I was a little nervous, but it arrived yesterday and is BEAUTIFUL. So happy with it! Wish I could've gotten it during a 30% off promo but oh well...

  14. I love my PS. She is so good. She also wouldn't let me buy shoes with a scuff on clearance and called J.Crew to give me the store clearance price ($228 online, I paid $69!) because she wanted me to have the perfect pair.

  15. I wanted to chime in that for all the corporate issues, the staff at my local J Crew has always been more than accommodating and awesome about returns, incorrect items, helping me find items. My DH shops at the same store and the men's section staff are really wonderful too - so shout out to Pioneer Place in PDX :) !
