  1. I'm going to the mall later on to see if the colorblock striped tee in the Cerise color is in stock. It's the one item that really jumped out at me from the first spring rollout, so hoping I can find it in my size...already sold out in Med online.

  2. Oh hell. Online only. Never mind!

  3. I picked up so many perfect fit tees at the recent online sales that I'm good for a LONG time.

  4. They should have included free shipping with the promo.

  5. Nothing for me, I already purchased the contrast striped tee, which is neon peach/beige IRL not like it is online. Sized down from normal S to XS. I agree, free shipping would be nice on these promotions since the % saved then gets eaten back up with shipping if only online.

  6. I also agree about need for free shipping - 20% off is not enough to counteract shipping fees

  7. I agree about the free shipping. And is this the kind of promo we can expect to see? 20% off knits, then 20% off shorts, etc.? Do you guys think it's likely they'll do a 20% off entire purchase with free shipping like they did in the Fall? Or was that just for the holidays? I have 4 things I'd like to get now and none of them are a "tee or knit." :P

  8. Oh, and one more thing...does anyone STILL not have their Rewards Card?? I haven't received mine yet (and I'm certain I'm getting one). I called CS yesterday and they said they were mailed Jan. 19. My mom lives right next door to me and she got hers 10 days ago! WTH? I know I can place an order over the phone and they'll honor it, but I'm just wondering if it got lost or just hasn't arrived yet! Thx!

  9. Aaak, I can't believe they got rid of free shipping on $175+ now! I wanted to pick up 2 lace necklace tees (strawberry and casablance blue) and the warm jade tulle bikini but not when I can't get free shipping.

  10. No shipping on $175+ now? I was just going to place an order but now the painter zip tee I wanted is sold out. I can't believe they can't even make their inventory last past 10am during a promo that doesn't even offset shipping costs. I shouldn't have to get up at 6am just to shop online.

  11. Free shipping on $175+ is still there.

  12. Update:
I just placed my order and the "LOVEIT" code got me free shipping on $175+.

  13. @kittywitty, I live right in the middle of Manhattan, and my rewards card just arrived on Saturday.

  14. Oh, and someone must be shopping the tee promo, because I've put 3 shirts that I've been stalking in my shopping bag, and all 3 disappeared.

  15. @Kittywitty, I haven't gotten my rewards card either. It's annoying. Why can't J Crew just attach it to your billing statement like BR does? I haven't gotten around to calling about the card yet, though. Let me know when yours shows up!

  16. "All knits and tees"...JCrew, you're such a tease! They neglected to add knit dresses, which have their very omw category, are excluded from the "knits and tees" promo.

I ordered some of the perfect fit ballet tees. They fit tts and I love the neckline.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "own category, not omw". Where were you that time auto-correct, huh?!

  18. Elaine, you may want to check out the store in person. This past weekend my store had the knits/tees at 20% off.

  19. I have a photo of the contrast striped tee on my blog. It's more sheer than the colorblock stripe tee from the previous rollout.

  20. Elaine - I am 100% sure I saw the Colorblocked Striped Tee in the Walden Galleria store in Buffalo, NY. I tried it on in both colours (this was a few weeks ago). I would try a WWFIFY or maybe call around to a few stores. Good luck!

  21. Oooh, good tip. I like the lace necklace T! :-)I wish it wasn't online only though....grumble grumble...

  22. Nothing for me... I am wary of JC tees since my navy perfect fit striped tee developed holes after just a couple of washings. : (

  23. @Kittywitty, I still have not gotten mine yet. I called they said it was sent out, but I never got it. You are not alone. I find it annoying, they said it's not really an issue, but I wanted the look book as well. Hang in there, hopefully I will get mine soon and you as well. :)

  24. I just received my rewards card today, with the lookbook for women and one for men. I am in Canada so I usually get it later than others do.
I used mine over the phone on the weekend to order the Brompton mini-hobo in coral, I need a bag for a holiday I'm taking next week. I was waiting for my card to order the Tillary and then I missed it, it is waitlisted until May. I thought if I kept waiting for my card I'd be bag-less.
No tee shirts for me, not the kind of promo I think many of us were hoping for!

  25. JustVisiting, that is my complaint as well. I'm quite sure that in the past the knits and tees promo did include knit dresses. I decided to try the spindrift sweatshirt since it was on my wishlist anyway. Wanted to try the rugby dress too but I'll wait for a FP promo.

Dani, I hope you find a Tillary in-store while on vacation. It would be great to snag one for the U.S. price.

    ReplyDelete
  26. xoxo I didn't even think of that, good idea! I did order one so I'd be on the waitlist, I really want that Tillary bag for summer. If I find one in Florida I could always cancel my online order, and yes I like the US price much better!

  27. Thanks, girls! My Rewards Card came today (figures after I say something!). Now we need a sitewide promo so I can spend it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Dani, if you have a PS it may be worthwhile to call them and ask to have one (shipped, if necessary) on hold for you at the closest store. Sometimes they can work wonders and mine has always been willing to help me with similar requests on my trips to the U.S.

  29. I too am still without my rewards card, here's hoping it arrives before everything I want is sold out in my size!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I haven't been online in 2 days b/c of work, but I cannot believe what you ladies are reporting.....sold out tees by 10AM? That is redic. Has become so hard to shop at jcrew.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @KittyWitty, I just received my rewards card today (2/7). I guess I should be flattered to receive one, my 2011 fall rewards card never came! Luckily, I learned that in instances of a J.Crew "failure to launch", you can order via phone and still use your rewards.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jeanne, me too. I think I have one in every color now, in varying styles!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I just got my rewards card on Wed. Nothing is too tempting in that lookbook for me, some of the styling is just silly.

  34. The fanfare tank is on Final Sale, when did that happen? This is ridiculous, it came out less than three weeks ago and it's not even President's Day, aka THE weekend when many will hit the shores and have the occasion to wear a tank. I would have ordered it with the promo but now no thanks, unless I can try it in store.
