  2. UPS has been wicked fast. I sent a return box on Tuesday and Wed. JCrew had sent me the refund email. That's crazy! I always have had the best shipping and return experience with JCrew. Thank you!

  3. While they're a bit overwhelming (since everyone else is doing it), I have to say that I love that J.Crew is doing so many nice promotions this holiday. Especially loving the ones with free ship, and no final sale.

  4. I love my royal paisley wool scarf. It's beautiful and has many current J.Crew colors so it goes with everything.

  7. I bought the Crewcuts boys' lambswool sweater for myself during the sweater promo, and I'm really pleased with it so far.

    It hasn't pilled or done anything wonky yet!

  8. This is an 'old' love, but I am really glad that factory store items are now online and are included in all of the percentage off promos that re going on right now. (Well, they were when I placed an order a few weeks ago.)

  9. I went to the B&M near me to buy a hat for my husband that's sold out online. When I got to the register not only did I find that it was on sale ($29.99 instead of $39.50) but it was an extra 30% off final sale AND they let me combine that with the student discount!

  12. My experience this week was awesome. The alpine goose-down puffer PS sourced for me arrived and it is great. She was able to find me one even though it was sold out on-line. Fits perfectly, lightweight and a beautiful drab green colour. With the sale price, additional 25% off it was a steal.

    I also received the lambswool shawl cardigan in marled evergreen. Beautiful sweater with a ribbed texture to it. The buttons look like they are leather, but are actually plastic. Sweater fits great and looks really good with gray, navy or dark brown.

    Finally two factory ties. Considering they were $13 and $14 each with the discount they are well made and are great colours.

    Great week for 'crew. Now I see that both the jacket and sweater are sold out and I feel even better about my purchases.

  15. My personal shopper at East Hampton, Susie, has been fantastic at finding items that are flattering to me and within my budget. Plus, when I stupidly ripped the tag off of the back pocket of my new jeans, she exchanged them for me. She's very patient with me and all of my questions! Happy Holidays to Susie! Cheers!!

  16. Just had a great experience with customer service regarding a web order. I ordered the cherry red resin w/ rinstones necklace. Upon receipt I noticed some of the rinestones had fallen out of the setting. I emailed them about an exchange and they quickly refunded me for the broken one and said I could call to re-order. They didn't even ask me to send the semi-damaged one back. I was very pleased needless to say!
