Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Anyone review the big-stripe leggings (51107)? I was interested in sizing. Thanks!

  5. UVillage store had a rather large sale section. Got a laceover tank for $19.99, in XXS this time. They run huge. Also snatched the vintage tweed pencil skirt in navy (one of the 2 size 2 left in the store). This skirt is sold out online.

The store had several pencil skirts in the viridian green and that blue in-store only skirt.

Factory store had men's sherpa hoodies for $10 off (the lining is the same as the one I have on the retail women's version I got last year), jewelry 30% off, tanks 30%, I believe. Not a heck of a lot of deals for a factory store, if you ask me.

I also visited Madewell and have posted some dress photos here.

  8. Hi,
Is it possible to get a price adjustment for the lace over tank which I bought for $29.99 in store but I am reading that people got for $19.99 ? Sorry if this is OT.

  9. Ended up ordering the Booker boot in masala chai, the flair skirt in heater acorn and my first pair of Minnies. We'll see how it looks when the order arrives. I'm also clearing my calendar for the Chapel Hill sample sale this weekend!

  10. I paid 39.99 for the lace over tank in poppy on 10/1. I wish I could get a price adjustment, but I doubt it!

  11. Joelle and ST, assuming that your stores are now selling the tank for $19.99, they will give you the price adjustment if it's within 7 days of your purchase.

  12. In my store they typically only do price adjustments if your first purchase price was full price. They won't adjust from sale price to sale price.

  13. Joelle: you may be able to. Mine rang $29.99 at the till and when I pointed that out to the SA, she said sometimes sale items ring wrongly for a week after they've been reduced. I didn't understand that logic, but she corrected the price. HTH

  16. Hi ladies,

I just visited the new store in Little Rock and they have two No. 2 pencil skirts in the very popular viridian green- a size 4 and a size 12. I know they are backordered online until January, so if you are looking- give the store a call!

  17. Thanks for all the great reviews everyone. I was interested in the floating rose tank and CS told me it ran tts. I knew not to trust them with Final Sale! I had the same problem with the schoolboy blazer in regular running very cropped on me. It looked like a little doll's coat! Granted, I am tall, but still, I think they are making these jackets shorter!
