J.Crew Email: November news: 6 things you need to see at jcrew.com

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Irina & Desert Flower, who shared the following email from J.Crew this morning.

The email features the "6 things you need to see at jcrew.com". Overall, this is a clever marketing email.

What are your thoughts on the email? Do you like the concept?

  1. November 1st and Final Sale still in effect? Not cool.

  2. Cass: I agree! I need to start Christmas shopping. I'm sure this will come off soon!!! (Fingers crossed.) Also was hoping for a great coat promo - like 30%!!! There's usually one in October. Oh well. Always a mystery with JC!

  3. Have they given up their blog?

  4. I can't believe Final Sale is still around, either! Not to mention that it is now moving into the Holiday season and shoppers are ready to buy gifts. If they wait too much longer they will have to go straight from Final Sale to Winter or Holiday sale instead of Fall Sale.

  6. Well, all my Christmas shopping needs to be done BEFORE Thanksgiving. I only have a couple more gifts to buy and was hoping final sale would be gone to. This may be the first Christmas in 10 years that I don't buy any J.Crew for gifts!

  7. I did not even read this 6 things email from J.Crew. I just hit delete. So I guess the marketing team bored me with this one!

  8. I clicked on the image of the biennial satchel hoping it would bring me to the product page for a better look. Instead it brings me to a page about Kate and what she's carrying around in hers along with a whole Q&A transcript. I guess they've moved on to marketing other employees as celebs now that the name Jenna Lyons is practically synonymous with the brand name itself? Personally, I'm over it. Please bring the focus back to the merchandise!
