JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

Also, please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel free to include links to your blog (where you incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance! :)

  1. OT: Free Shipping on any J.Crew order until 6.19.11 with code FREESHIP at checkout. It appears as if there may be some new arrivals online, but their links are all messed up again and the women's section won't load right now. It just keeps getting redirected back to their home page. Some of the previous product pages are missing again too, AND my cart got dumped for the second time in 2 days...extremely annoying!

  3. Hello JCAs, back after a bit of an absence. I bought the eyelet skirt in ivory; wondering what's best to pair on top? Don't like black, too jarring in contrast and seems like winter colors. Thinking maybe navy, but that still gives the light/dark colorblocking effect. Any other ideas?

  5. Thanks yogagirl, coral is a great idea. I think I will try a coral jackie twinset and navy pumps.

  6. Hi there!

I have the madras plaid schoolboy blazer. I am struggling with bottoms (I just keep going to white jeans but then I look too "forced") and am at a loss for what layering top.

    Thanks!
