J.Crew Spotted In Country Living Magazine

A big "thanks!" to Sara, who not only let us know about several J.Crew {new arrival} items being spotted in the March 2010 issue of Country Living Magazine, but also scanned the images for us to view! (Click on the images above to see them larger.)

The first image features a floral scarf ($59.50) from J.Crew (the second scarf from the left). The second image features a floral button-down.

It's definitely starting to feel like Springtime! (Well kind of... If I look out my window with all the snow from yesterday, it definitely is Winter.) ;)

What are your thoughts on the various J.Crew items? Do you like (or dislike) the pattern/ colors for the button down shirt and/or scarf? Are you a fan of floral prints for Spring? :)

  1. Good morning - there are quite a few 'new arrivals' this morning, including a few blouses and sweaters, and a silk-linen jumpsuit! Definitely a questionable item.

  2. Upgrade also happened, but most itms either n/a or aleady sold out. Tweed bag is teasing me at $99 and n/a.

  3. The studio tee that was on-line for $95.00 is noe $125.00, why does JC keep raising their prices when something sells quickly?

They added a new Jaspe the description said it is long sleeve but from the picture it is 3/4, can't they get the description right?

  4. Appliqué flower art tee is now available at $78.00. Art studio tee has a huge hole where tag used to be. I guess JC is charging up for the "hand made" holes now.

  5. The 2009 Patent Pocket Calendar just popped back, for only $16.99! Just what we all need right now!

  6. I'm not a big scarf person ordinarily--just can never figure out what to do with them--but I LOVE that floral print one. The price is a bit steep, though--or maybe I'm just not up on how much scarves cost, lol.

That jumpsuit is ridiculous. It's right up there with the silk drawstring lounge pants.

  7. I own this potpourri scarf featured and I love the colors - some pop of colors against black is lovely. I am loving the floral print of this year... a bit retro and girly for me.

Slastena: Seriously, the Art studio tee looks like some DIY project. The painted scout chino is a joke.

I hate how JCrew jacks up the price...do they think we are stupid and not notice the difference? Oh yeah, when they raised the Minnie by $10 last year some crewless SAs did not know the difference.

  9. Sweetsy, i agree. I simply love JCrew in the spring and summer. Just watching the videos and seeing the photos in magazines, they are going to have some fabulous prints this year, from the sunshine peony, to the waterfloral, to others.

  10. I love the floral scarf... but didn't see it when I went to the B&M the other day... please don't tell me it's all ready sold out! :/

  11. I picked up the floral scarf today at my local B&M in Boca Raton, FL. It was the last one and the sales associate said they didn't get many and the all sold within days--I got lucky because it was on a mannequin in the front window in the corner. The price is steep, but something I'll wear for a really long time as the colors are so versatile. I highly recommend! Looks fabulous with black, white, & lavendar.

  12. well, luckily, my mom snatched up the potpourri scarf for me as a Valentine's Day present! :) she said it was the last one on the shelves at the store (natick), but that it was featured on most of the mannequins. i'm glad j crew allows stuff to be purchased that is on the mannequins, i know some brands are lame about that.

  13. Molly - I just came on here to tell you about the Natick store - I was there tonight and they had some of the scarves you were looking for! Some of us JCAs get together and go shopping together. If you're interested, drop me a line at jadorethesestores AT gmail DOT com!
