J.Crew Email: New Spring Arrivals...

J.Crew sent an email today announcing new arrivals in both their stores and online. Fortunately, we Aficionadas and Aficionados knew this information long before the email was sent out (refer to here and here). ;)

Although it is still pretty cold in the Northeast (and will be for sometime), I cannot wait for Spring! I am looking forward to wearing skirts and sandals again. :) But to be quite honest, I think I am done shopping for awhile. I purchased quite a bit in the past two months and that should hold me over for awhile (key word: should, but who knows!) ;)

Are you looking forward to the new January arrivals? When do you think the new Spring catalog & items will arrive? Are you planning to hold off purchases for awhile? :)

  1. I have a few things in my cart already. I can't wait for spring!

You have to laugh at JC and their belated emails

  2. I can't wait for Spring to arrive, it will be at least another 3 months until I can wear Spring clothes. Even though it is my favorite time to buy clothes I have to cut back due to economics.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I forgot to add that I have already purchased 2 Spring items during one of the sales before Christmas.

  4. I actually like winter, layers, coats, sweaters, love it! I think I'll also hold off from buying this first round of spring stuff because I'm pretty fair skinned and light colors don't look all that great on me. But I love the jewel tones from fall and winter.

  5. Ha...I am ready for spring, but is spring ready for my pale winter-white legs? :)

I can't wait for some new comfy knit dresses...those are my absolute favorites!

  6. Ok,I am not completely "well to do", but my husband and I do own a place in Anguilla. I do like to buy a few new bathing suits and a few new tops and shorts for the 4 months we are here. I think J Crew has a small, but decent offering. I would NEVER get anything as expensive as Channel or Burberry for our beach lifestyle, so J Crew fits my budget. I promise you, most of my friends here in the Caribbean feel I am "highend" in my wardrobe. Those of us here for the winter are on a tight budget and our lifestyles are more towards a "Patagonia" lifestyle than a "Chanel" lifestyle.

  7. Me too, I have very pale skin and the new spring colors are not very complementing for me. However, i did purchase white jeans from new spring collection at the store yesterday. I liked them and don't want to chase my size later on. I may buy some pastel items that I can combine with bright winter items I have. I will see how it works.
I was at B&M yesterday and looked at some swimming suites. I may buy one later if it goes on sale. The full price is too high for me. I can always use another swimming suite in San Diego :)

  8. Hi all,

I'm with Dina on this one. I think the new colours look lovely, on the models (& Halle Berry - who looks amazing in anything). However, as a pale blonde w. blue eyes, I tend to get a little washed out. Also, since I teach accounting, I find myself buying more conservative colours like navy, grey, burgndy, chocolate, etc. As a result, I find myself stocking up on work clothes during the fall & winter sales & try to buy selectively at other times.

Lastly, like many fellow aficionada's I'm still paying off the pre-holiday / great discount buying frenzy of the last several weeks.

***SIGH** I guess it's back to admiring FFM's lovely outfits & feeling good for fellow JCA's when they get a fabulous new addition to their closets.

So good luck shopping everyone & please share your favourite finds!

    Heather:D

It seems you're a fellow San Diegan! Did the B&M have much? I was away for the holidays and haven't been in there since before xmas. I have lots to return, so just wondering how the current selection is. TIA!

  10. Shannon: Too funny about the belated emails! :)

Casual-Crew: I can't blame you for buying Spring clothes already- some items are so pretty! :)

Dina: I can't lie, I like wearing layers too. I think I am just "done" with winter because I am tired of shoveling snow! ;)

AppGal: Include me in the knit dress club! They are not only pretty but comfy!

Kirbydog: I am jealous that you visit Anguilla often! What a gorgeous place to have a home and visit- congrats! :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. AppGal and Alexis - I'm another knit dress girl! I love them! My students always think I'm dressed up and I always feel as comfortable as if I was wearing a night gown! :D I am a short girl, but I love the look of the long knit dress. I wonder if it would drag the ground on me? :P I also like the deep-v dress, but it would require a tank to be decent for school.

I do have to admit that I gave in and bought one of the new spring items. It's not online yet (or maybe never) - it's the twisted cap sleeve shirt. I got the tea rose and it's a pretty shade (very close to bright rhubarb). I can wear it now under a cardigan, so that's how I justified the buy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Math_Teacher: I couldn't agree more with you about the knit dresses from J.Crew- they are so comfortable but they look dressy at the same time. :)

Also, congrats on the new Spring shirt! :)

  13. Smarty, I actually live in San Diego (Cardiff to be exact) and was at the Fashion Valley store just under a week ago and they were pretty wiped out. Of the new arrivals, there wasn't anything too exciting that they haven't had for the past few weeks in the resort section. But the sale section was pretty empty, and it looked like they were possibly expecting some new items because there was quite a bit of 'empty' shelf space. I'm hoping to go back in the next few days and see if they've gotten any new stock.

  14. I'm beginning to look forward to spring. Enough with the snow already!:)

I bought most of my spring wardrobe with the discounts last fall and before Christmas in colors that work this year too.

I may splurge on a couple of new spring/summer pieces, but not just yet. My budget needs to recover from the pre-holiday orders. :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I've got to admit, I'm pretty underwhelmed by the new offerings. I do like some of the colors, but the pieces themselves are uninspiring for me. It's good for my wallet, I guess!

    ReplyDelete
  16. *Megan*
Thanks for the info! I won't rush over there. FYI, my PS emailed last night and said new arrivals would be in on January 13, so maybe save yourself a trip until then. Take care and thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I might be in the minority, but I really love the pretty neutrals they're featuring, along with the simplicity of most of the pieces (but accessorized with pretty necklaces and belts and accessories). :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nothing looks too exciting to me. I am still holding out for one of those great online sales, even though I know it won't happen. Everything in the new catalog looks too similar to last season. I really have to love it to buy it. I did score the owen bag for $105 after chrismas. Haven't used it yet, looks like it could get really dirty quickly. I hope I can hold out as long as possible before I spend a dime at Jcrew.

  19. I did buy the chocolate Sanur dress with one of the 30% off sale thingys during the holidays and I LOVE IT! And, the dress is sold out online in XS (for now ;) so I'm glad I snagged it for our sans-baby March vaca to the Bahamas! Probably one of the most veratile things I've ever purchased from JC. I thought it would be crapy and not look good since it could be worn three ways, but it's actually great!

Also got a few of JC's bathing suits from last year for SUPER CHEAP during the holidays... so, I don't think I'll be buying a lot of spring/ summer stuff this year since I went so crazy spending on clothes last year... especially if they keep making their maternity-esq tops!!

  20. I love the cotton taffeta Nicky skirt. I plan to order it in navy. Very similar to a Bennetton skirt I owned many years ago and I wore that skirt until it was worn out. Very cute, versatile and a crisp, new look for spring.

I also like the Ava dress. Didn't Audrey Hepburn wear a similar dress with a skinny black belt? I have an image in my mind with pearls and hair in a French twist. Maybe it's just me. I recall one JCA saying the dress was nothing special, just jersey knit and did not have a sheen IRL, although it appears so online. It can't hurt to try as it's not expensive and could be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lindsey B. - the Sanur dress looks comfortable, perfect for holiday. Can you really wear it all 3 ways and it still looks good?

Enjoy your vacation, and your dress.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anon 9:33 I love navy and the skirt looks nice.

I would love to find some nice navy shoes with a heel. I have been looking for something cute for a while. Maybe this is the season for a navy shoe comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anon @ 9:33 - the blogger at one of Alexis' linked blogs, "My J Crew Reviews" did a review of the Ava dress on December 8th. She used to have a picture up where she modeled the dress IRL, so we could know what it looks like on us mortal non-model women, but I think she took it down. HTH

  24. This is slightly OT - has anyone tried on the cherie cami? I like this, but my b&m doesn't have it and I'm wondering how it fits? Size down like so many camis? TIA

    ReplyDelete
  25. There are few things that I really like. The giraffe print cami, the Ellora print and the Grenada cami. I like the color palette but many of the colors probably won't work for me because I am fair and blonde.

I went a little (probably a lot) overboard with my purchases before Christmas. The deals were just too good, and I was able to fill some wholes in my wardrobe. Thankfully its all paid for now and behind me.

I have a lot of new stuff I haven't even had a chance to wear. So before I buy any more, FP or FS, I have promised myself that I will only consider pieces that I can pair with the purchases I made before Christmas and that I truly love.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm at least three months from baring my legs, so I'll be enjoying all my pre-Christmas purchases, many of them snagged with the help of that wonderful 25% off card. I love cashmere sweaters & wool skirts & boucle & tweed & scarves & gloves, so more winter is cool with me :-)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Pretty lackluster spring arrivals. Then again, it's the month after the holidays, so it's in their best interest to release more items later. After all, who's really in the mood to shop anymore . . . other than my fellow readers.

    ReplyDelete
  28. *math teacher*
I had to size down in the cherie cami. If you are not pear-shaped (like me), you may even be able to go down two sizes. HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's actually in J.Crew's best interest to keep shoppers interested & buying all year round.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I am not blown away by anything so far. Liked the fall/winter stuff way better.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well I for one am in the mood to shop, in fact I just checked out. I ordered gifts during all the great pre-xmas sales and haven't bought online for myself since mid-nov, so I've been itching.
In case you are wondering, yes I do expect some kind of award or a parade for going a whole 8 weeks :P

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oops, meant ditto to 10:16 poster.

Cool that you found some things you love, though, Shannon.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Math teacher, I bought that same twisted cap sleeve shirt (same color) and LOVE it!!! It's gorgeous!

  34. Anon at 9:33~

I LOVE the Ava dress! I got it in the pink color and plan to belt it with cardigan. It is very Breakfast at Tiffanys...

With the Cherie cami, I got a 2. As per usual, it was slightly blousy on top yet more fitted in the hip region. Sigh. Still a lovely top though.

Tomorrow, I am expecting the lattice cami in gray as well as the silk dupiono skirt in golden cypress.

To all my fellow fair skinned JCAs, I too am not jazzed about pastels. However, I feel that you can combine the pastels with the jewel tones from Fall and Holiday and make them more appropriate for spring. I just got the Portland cardigan in Champagne which I normally would never do because the sweater pretty much matches my skin tone, but I feel like it would help play up the brighter colors I normally must wear.

    ReplyDelete
  35. After much nails biting in the past few days, I finally purchased my first Spring items - lattice cami in both amber and grey in size 0P. I ordered 0P only due to the ultra loose fit of all the camis in the past season. Hope they fit. Will definitely report back. Also purchased the fireball bracelet and the pillow ring in store this evening to go with the camis. LOVE THEM. Will definitely report back.

  36. This is off topic but I thought that some of you may really enjoy this: On Lucky Magazine's Style Steals blog [www.luckymag.com/shopping/blogs/stylesteals] written by the editor at large, J Crew's bug pins are referred to as "these totally amazing bug pins." I am not sure that the commenters on this blog have quite the same opinion, LOL. I was a bit shocked when I saw the photos of them on her post and had to share.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh oh oh Math teacher and Amy, I also tried on the twisted cap sleeves shirt! I liked the twisted sleeves but was not sure about the pink color. What other colors do your local B&M store carry? Mine only has the pink and the white available which I do not usually go for...

  39. WOW, Shannon!

I'll give it to ya, round of applause to you for abstaining for 8 weeks, especially during TURKEY and HOHOHO.

It will be C-O-L-D where I live for the next few months, so I am thinking about saving my money, and personally suspending J.Crew.com and possibly this blog for a little while....just as soon as I find my decadent mints dark slate tee. ha!

  43. Anon 9:45 - it was on "My J.Crew Reviews" blog that I saw the review and the photo IRL. I thought the dress looked great on Shannon. It sounds like she planned on keeping the dress, too. I love the pink colour. I'm not quite ready to surrender to pastels just yet. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jane Esq - can you comment on the fit of the Ava dress? TTS? Any areas where it may be too big or too small?

    TIA

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anon at 10:53~

The Ava dress was a dream come true for me because it fit tight on top but flared out to cover, yet accentuate, my lower half. Whenever I have a dress or skirt that hugs my lower half (i.e. the double serge and peacock skirts) I ALWAYS size up-I got a 4 in the double serge and a 6 in the peacock because the fabric lacked stretch.

However, in tops and a-line or flared skirts, I am almost always a 2. So I went with the 2 in this dress and its great. I could wear a 4, but I worry about making my lower half appear puffy.

    Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think the pastel colors are gorgeous, but I live in Boston & most of the items are too delicate to keep me warm in this weather. I'm waiting for (hopefully) further reductions. It will be hard to wait though! I'll probably buy a couple more winter items if/when they are further reduced, but nothing like the T-day thru Xmas buying sprees of the past month! : )

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thanks for the info Jane Esq.

I usually buy a 10 in tops and jackets and a 4 in bottoms. I'm quite tall and busty, although slim on the bottom so maybe this wouldn't be the dress for me. I wonder if I could have the skirt part taken in, ditch the pockets. Or have the pleats stitched down. I don't mind some fullness on the skirt, it helps balance me so I don't look quite so top-heavy. I have a lot of trouble finding dresses that fit properly without some tailoring. Maybe since it is knit, it would be more forgiving.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I ordered a few items for size/to see in person b/c the B&M I went to didn't have much of the new line up.

After getting my order email, I saw that the NEW Whisper lamé Zoey tanks (93551) are marked as Final Sale?! What?! The CS did NOT tell me that as I ordered the blue jasmine in 0, 2, and 4. Surely it must be a mess up in their system - but none the less RIDICULOUS.

Has anyone else seen items that were not final sale be marked as final sale in their order? If anything this could be reason to pull a line for returns saying "I did not know if this item was really final sale b/c I've bought FP items for apparent final sale too."

Also, Andrew who commented on the jackets post, if you see this, please check my comment if you can (~#420) and reply back about the Penny Boucle Tweed jacket tailoring! TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  49. *Whitney*
I, too, have had FP items arrive marked "final sale". I took them to the local B&M, explained the situation and returned them with no problem. I also had this happen with some sale items (bought when it was NOT FS) and had no problem returning those too. It seemed to me like the SAs were used to the online mistakes, so they didn't even think twice about it. HTH!

  50. Chiffoncupcake/Anon @ 10:39 -

I saw that top in a navy at my B&M (Woodland Hills, CA). It was beautiful. Actually, the SA suggested it to me, as it was one of her favorite early season pieces. If memory serves me, I think I also saw it there in a pewter.

  51. Jane,

Let us know what you think of the silk dupioni skirt when you get it. I received mine today and am a bit disappointed. I thought from the website pictures that the skirt would be flowy and silky smooth. I found that the fabric was a bit rough and was not fluid at all. The pleats were severe. I will keep this (cause it was final sale) and probably wear it to work as well, but it is definitely not my favorite skirt that I've gotten recently.

In better news, I received the Francie in black today and I absolutely love it! Going to wear it to work tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would be happy to review the lattice cami and silk dupioni skirt tomorrow. I actually asked the CS rep if she could make a note on my order for it not to be final sale, since I was a bit concerned about the color against my pale legs. Fingers crossed!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I also got the twisted cap sleeve blouse, in light pewter. The other colors are navy, off white and rose. I got the rose but the color doesn't go with anything in my wardrobe - it's a very pretty color, and more wearable than rhurbab. I wish it also comes in the light tangerine as did the new Victoria.

I also got the white matchstick jeans. It's hard to get my size and I noticed that they don't all fit the same way. Some seems to be tighter around the waist. The denim fabric has a nice, soft hand and it felt comfy.

I like the ruffle palace print dress but it's too expensive for non-work related.

Will probably order the sydney dress in light pewter later. I liked the fit of my giverny print sydney.

  54. Last year, one of my closest friends got married in NC in September and it was still freakingOMGhot. I wore the Sanur dress during the bridesmaids prep and etc. and I looked so put together next to the other bridesmaids, who'd put on just shorts and tanks. And for just taking 2 seconds to pull on a dress!

I plan on buying one in a different color, to wear for the hair appointments and etc. for my own September wedding. :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thanks, both Anon! I feel that the "rose" color in the twisted cap sleeves top is very similar to the pink in the licorice candy tee but just a teeny bit less intense. I would love to see it in navy and compare.

Any idea if I could get it altered to be more fitted in the waist? I may need to add a zipper? I cannot imagine how I could "popover" the shirt with a narrower waist but without a zipper...

  56. I totally agree with JaneEsq. I have the Ava dress in the pink color and personally love it. I plan to style it with the double wrap patent belt. It fits TTS (I wear a 2 in skirts and a 0 in tops, went with a 2 in this dress, fits great). I will say that it accentuates the hips because of the tulip skirt. I am petite and am not used to having the appearance of hips in just about anything I wear, so I was at first unsure about this dress. But after trying it with the right accessories, I quickly loved it.

  57. smarty, I just saw your post. No, the store has nothing good left. I went there the day after Xmas, and after, and after... Still nothing. I picked up a pair of socks from the sale rack and a ladybug yellow necklace but that's it. I had a GC and I was looking to spend it on something good. So I bought the white jeans I liked from resort collection.
And what are you planning to return?
if you want you can email me at viktoriyasd at yahoo dot com
I go to school near Fashion Valley and go to JC very often. I can keep you updated on new arrivals

  58. Not seeing anything I like and/or would buy--even on say. I think the lattice top is awful/Eygptian looking! Good for my wallet. Hopefully, when the true spring collection comes out....God, I hope there is more...thing will catch my eye. Just bored right now with the whole colors and designs....

    ReplyDelete
  59. I am apparently also in the minority, but I am absolutely in love with the new color palette!!! I have already purchased the Snow-Leopard Cardigan, as well as the Spring Dots Nicky Skirt in Pebble. I plan to wear the skirt with the Cashmere Sequin Shell in Heather Wheat (found on my last trip to my local J.Crew), and Blanched Almond Juliet Midheels.

There are several other pieces I would like to have such as the Travel Trench in Navy, and the new Aubrey jacket that's out for Spring in Natural. One of the managers told me that they are getting in a lot of new merchandise at the end of this month, too...YAY!!! :)

  60. Anon 12:07,

Silk dupioni is a rough fabric by definition:

an irregular silk thread reeled from two or more entangled cocoons and producing a coarse yarn generally used in fabrics such as shantung or pongee.

Sometimes known as dupion or douppioni, silk dupioni is a shimmering silk that is created by weaving silk threads of two different colors into a weave that seems to change colors as the silk is moved around in different lights. Constructed with threads made from rough silk fibers that are harvested from double cocoons or single cocoons that are spun side by side and interlocked, silk dupioni generally employs a set of vibrant colors in the weave. Along with creating the shimmering effect, the choice of two different colors of rough silk fiber help to create a crisp drape quality to the finished fabric.

Silk dupioni has an advantage over some other types of silks, in that dupioni tends to resist wrinkles, which helps to enhance the usability of the finished fabric. In addition, silk dupioni also has a tendency to take creases very well, which can give the final product a crisp and formal appearance. As an added bonus, silk dupioni is totally reversible, so it is perfectly acceptable for both sides of the material to be visible.

At the same time, silk dupioni does have a couple of drawbacks. The material has almost no stretching ability, which means that using silk dupioni requires the need to be very exact in the measurements before cutting out any pattern. Also, silk dupioni does not work well with pins, as the pins tend to leave permanent marks in the material. This attribute can be frustrating for some persons attempting to utilize silk dupioni in home sewing projects.

Silk dupioni can be used in a number of different fabric creations. In the way of clothing, silk dupioni works well for flowing jackets, blouses, skirts, dresses, and bridal gowns. For home decorating, silk dupioni can be utilized as drapery panels or other types of window treatments, table runners and cloths, and doilies for accent on tables and sofa backs and arms.

While dry-cleaning is generally recommended for silk dupioni, it is possible to hand wash sections of silk dupioni fabric before the material is cut and used in a pattern. When washed by hand, there is the chance of some shrinkage, and the fabric will most likely lose some of the crisp texture and a portion of the shimmering effect. For finished products constructed with silk dupioni, dry cleaning is definitely the best means of freshening the material.

I saw a couple of the bathing suits (not all) come in with the resort line in Dec. The store near me is really small, so I imagine if they have it, most would. Also, I heard more new stuff is arriving in stores Jan 13, so maybe they'll have even more then. HTH!

  69. Anyone have any reviews of the sanur dress??

    ReplyDelete
  70. I can offer a review of the Sanur dress from the one I have from last Summer (assuming they haven't changed it). I have it in a sort of bright rhubarb-esque pink (I forgot the color name) and papaya (a peachy orange). The jersey is a nice drapey weight and the skirt is A-line. It is very flattering imho! I got it in a size small and I think I should have maybe gotten the extra small. I'm a 34B and even though I have a wide rib cage it is a little loose up top. I may try to shrink it since it is cotton. I generally take an XS/S or a 0/2 in their tops and cardis so I would say it runs TTS.

  71. Thanks lleila - I am hoping to be pregnant soon, so trying to look for clothes that I love now, but that would work for a while either way. That dress might be a winner. :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh yes I think the Sanur would work for a while if you do get pregnant, because it is kind of empire cut, so there is a lot of room in the waist area. It is also very stretchy. Good luck :)

  73. In between dreaming of the new Spring collection, I've finally gathered the various items I've had waiting for return. Those of you concerned about sending things back to the warehouse because of the suspected wait with the large amount of holiday returns, I have to say that, in my latest experience, J.Crew got it right :) I sent a package UPS with the authorized return label, and it arrived yesterday (within a week). This morning already my returns were processed and my gift cards are already on their way (the items were past 60 days- they were defective so I lagged on returning them). So, while I had issues with those items (a ring, a dress, and a ringspun t-shirt), I'm over it, and very pleased that the return was taken care of in good time. Thanks!

  74. FFM - I'm interested to know what you think of the Snow-Leopard cardigan. I've been eyeing that one since I saw new arrivals, but just a little worried b/c I am very fair skinned with brown hair.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Just an FYI to fellow JCAs re: the silk dupioni skirt and lattice cami

skirt: I ordered the golden cypress and its a truly stunning color-a golden green with a touch of yellow. This color is far more versatile than one would think, I am thinking of pairing it with pinks, ivories, grays. I am, however, waivering on my size choice. I am generally a 4 in JC skirts (especially pencil skirts) but could definitly size down in this. I chose the 4 because I thought it would sit lower on the waist and be more conducive to layering. It doesn't look big or anything, but I definitly could have taken a 2 without a problem. I am going to pair it with other tops at home before I decide to size down or not.

cami: I love this top! The color is a little less blue than it appeared in the catalogue...I would describe it as light pewter with a touch of black, a great neutral color. I love the detailing around the neckline, kind of gives off an Egyptian vibe, as well as the versatility of this top. I would wear this under a suit or going out. The cami actually fits pretty TTS. I usually take a 2 in JC camis (Keep in mind, I'm not exactly built like Pamela Anderson here). It certainly wasn't as tent-like as the lydia or elizabeth camis. My experience with JC camis is that the fit is perfect on the shoulders and hips, but slightly blousy in the mid-section. This effect was less apparent with the lattice cami.

Just as I was rejoicing about this top, I saw a SNAG in the lower right corner of the top. Sigh. This might simply me the nature of silk habotai, but I am sending it back b/c if I am paying full price for an item, I want it to be in perfect condition.

I hope this description helps any prospective purchasers! Have a wonderful day!

  76. FFM - you are NOT in the minority - well, at least you're not alone. I love the new palette and the new classic, crisp styles.

And, I'm glad to know that we are both in the same category on this season's line, because I happen to think you have a great eye and great taste!

  77. Hi Melissa! I personally really love the new Snow-Leopard Cardigan, and think it's prettier IRL than it is on the website. It can be worn with many different colors, so I wouldn't be too concerned that it wouldn't work for you, since you can wear a color underneath it that IS flattering to your skin-tone. I plan to style some more sets showing it with different color options now that I've seen it IRL, and will post them on my blog later this week. :) Have a fabulous day!

    Anon @2:05: THANK YOU!!! :)

  79. too many pinks/pastels (what Jenna is trying to package as 'new neutrals') for my taste, but there's a few dresses I like-- especially the cady sydney dress... I don't want to see spring stuff now, though! More sweaters, please!
