Darlings, is it time for a J.Crew coupon code?

Yes, it is that wonderful time again! :)

A big "thanks!" goes to Marietta (in the "Love It Or Leave It: Jersey-Knit Pant" post) who let us know that J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code ISB-90. This offer expires 10/4/08.

  1. I wish it was another % off FS code!! Should we be waiting for one of those soon, or go ahead and order and just be happy to get the free shipping?

Of course when they had the last % off FS I was only wanting full price stuff, and now I'm back to lusting over some sale items!! They are so good at making me want what I can't have!! ;)

  2. UGH- I am trying to place an order and all the associates have suddenly gotten so RIGID! They wont let you place an order using two discounts. Last week they let me no problem this week, I tried three CSRs and they all are saying "no" and sticking to it. Who can afford JCrew's new prices... and now I cant use my teacher discount and FS!?! WHAT

  3. If you are fortunate enough to have B&M nearby, these free ship promotions provide an opportunity to "buy and try" everything that looks remotely interesting. Then if you have to play the final sale lottery, at least you know what fits and looks good and will work with what's already in your closet.

  4. OT - have a question for those who have the chiffon rosette belt. How do you tie it? the ribbon is pretty long and I'm not sure how to tie it so that the ends don't trail or stick out behind. Hope that doesn't sound too dense. TIA!!

  8. blumre - No matter if your FS stood for 'free shipping' or 'final sale', that sucks!! I thought the 'teacher' or 'student' discount was something you could always get on top of any other discount ... in this economy, now is not the time to be ticking off money-spending customers J. Crew!!!

  9. Just wanted to report some good news...J Crew has been really cooperative and helpful with me lately! I have gotten a student discount on my last 3 final sale purchases. I even asked if they could retrospectively give me the discount on the 2 suits I ordered (on final sale) at the beginning of August and they did! They said that they don't usually do it on past orders but that they would this time as a courtesy. :)

  13. UGH...AGAIN with the high minimum for Free Shipping! Give me a break...

blumre: What a bummer! Seems that most retailers allow at least 2 codes per transaction...were you purchasing Final Sale or regular?

  14. BR would not let me combine the discounts either, with their 30% sale and my 20% filling out the survey discount, and I know the manager really well.

  15. FFM, I was purchasing final sale but if I had actually bought what I was going to buy it would have been over $200.00. Frankly I think I will just shop in stores from now on. Its not worth it otherwise. I hate having to call in orders b/c online orders don't work and I hate this new code BS to get the extra percent off so we can also get FS. It just annoys me too much. It is too unpleasant of an experience.
